i never saw them as dead in the twilight books more as mutants ( at least to me XD) if he were dead then he would not be able to drink blood, smell, feel, or anything......maybe female vampires are just infertile?
No, it definitely isn't. So far I've finished the first book and it wasn't half as bad as I expected it to be - it was quite good actually. Not something I'd put on my "Top 10 Books" list, but also not something that deserves all the loathing. Which - the loathing - is getting more irritating than the supposedly stupid love for the books.
Hi there. I am going on just normal vamp lore here, but there is blood in his body. Vampires drink blood of either people or in Ed's case, animal blood to replace their own. Venom is in the blood and does not replace it. Since the blood is a "life giving liquid", that is how vamps survive. So it would make sense to conclude for fantasy sake that there is blood and he can have blood in that particular part of the body to allow him have sex.
haha that's such a good point. i'm guessing that because he's hard as stone, he doesn't have that problem? maybe he doesn't get it up? maybe vampires are so strong that they can control the little muscle in that area? i don't really know.
When a mommy idiot loves a daddy vampire very much they have extremely violent sex and the mommy idiot gets pregnant with a half-breed baby that can kill her, so the mommy idiot is turned into a vampire. And that is the basic plot of Breaking Dawn, you're welcome! But in all seriousness I am a twi-hard twitard but I hate that book/movie. It makes no goddam sense!
For even more ridiculous vampire children in the movies, read on.
Watch Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman. Dracula and his three wives were able to produce minions by way of laying "eggs" or slimy hanging cocoons. Because vampires are "dead", the children were born dead. Dracula used Dr. Frankenstein's set up to electrocute the bat-like creepers to life. Also check out the new movie "VAMPS" with Alicia Silverstone. It was really cute. SPOILER A vampire has the chance to turn back into a human and birth a half vamp child that she conceived while she was still a vampire. If she remained a vamp, she would miscarry. In a way, it carried on Meyer's theory as to why female vamps can't get pregnant (in this case, carry a child to full term). It is because their bodies cannot change.
